Nestling at the foot of the Black Mountains, Dorcas and David offer a warm and friendly welcome to Tara B&B, their family home. Food is a speciality of the B&B.

Breakfast and, on request, dinners are prepared by Dorcas, an experienced Cordon Bleu cook, using local produce and seasonal fruits and vegetables from the garden. All diets can be catered for, including vegetarian and vegan.

Just 5 miles from Hay-on-Wye and12 miles from Brecon, Tara is situated in the small village of Felindre in the Brecon Beacons National Park . Tara is set in two acres of garden with wonderful views across the Wye Valley and stunning rolling hills.

All rooms have a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The price includes a full cooked breakfast. Evening meals, Sunday lunches and picnic lunches can be provided on request, at an additional cost.

Tara is a smoke-free environment (guests are welcome to smoke outside) but we regret that we cannot accommodate pets.

Although there is a swimming pool at the property, we regret that it is not available for guests' use.
